Being in India does funny things to your English:

1. Snacks - we use this word just the same in the States, but somehow it comes up much more frequently here: “5:30, time for Snacks!”
   
   
2. Only - usually ends up stuck at the end of sentences: “I’m just getting some water only”
   
   
3. Man - “C’mon man” - lots of need for “C’mon man’s” here.
   
   
4. Pure Veg - As opposed to “Veg” or “Non Veg.” I think eggs are non-veg.
   
   
5. Trekking - Its like hiking, only it sounds cooler.
   
   
6. Sound OK Horn - Written on the back of pretty much every truck/auto. I wish it were “Please don’t sound your horn over and over, OK?”
